InvoiceHandy ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the business, client, and financial records you create in the InvoiceHandy mobile application and client web portal.

1. Data We Collect & Store

• Offline-First Local Data: Invoices, quotes, saved clients, and expense receipts are stored locally on your device using encrypted SQLite storage. You can use InvoiceHandy without creating an account.
• Cloud Sync & Account Backup: If you sign in with your email, your business profile, client records, invoices, and compressed receipt/site photos are synced to our Appwrite cloud infrastructure (https://appwrite.helson.uk/v1) strictly isolated to your user ID.
• Voice & Receipt AI Processing: When you use Voice Fill or Receipt Scanner, audio transcripts or receipt images are transmitted over TLS to Google Gemini API solely to extract structured invoice fields and are never used to train public AI models.

2. Client Web Portal (/v/{token})

When you share a document link (https://invoice.helson.uk/v/{token}) with a homeowner or client, only the public invoice/quote fields, contractor business details, and payment instructions are displayed. Internal receipt purchase costs and markups are stripped on the server and never exposed.

3. Data Retention & Account Deletion (GDPR / UK-GDPR / CCPA)

You may export your complete data (CSV & ZIP Accountant Pack) or permanently delete your cloud account and all associated records at any time from Account & Settings → Delete Account inside the app, or by emailing [email protected].
